    Danny Garcia...where is the love?

All the attention Khan is getting at the moment, despite not having fought in almost a year, proves that most of the people on this forum are shallow, celebrity worshipping, media junkie imbeciles. Khan does what any other fighter would do and goes for the big pay day and all of a sudden there's a hundred threads a day praising him? DSG is far more deserving of attention than feather fisted, glass jawed Khan. Fickle ****s.

Khan has a fight lined up, Garcia doesn't. What's there to say about Danny at the moment? We know he's a good fighter. When he signs the contract to fight Porter-Thurman winner he will be relevant again. Until then, what is there to talk about?

I'm not even sure how good he is. His defense it's average at best, no quick hands, and I don't think he'll have any power at the ww limit. Yeah he'll get more love is he beat Brooks or winner of Thurman-porter.

Khan is moving up two weight classes (more like one and a half) to fight arguably the biggest star in boxing at the moment.

Garcia doesn't deserve the amount of hate he gets, but he doesn't have a fight lined up. He just beat Guerrero and Malignaggi before that, and they don't have the star power that Canelo has to garner that much attention.

I'm a Garcia fan but post-Matthysse, he has been on a downward spiral, both in terms of opponents and performances. What more is there to say?

Itll not be long before he fights against the top level again, this always happens in boxing, they take lower level to boost popularity amongst casual audiences. Still a fan here, hopefully well get to see Garcia vs Brook next.

His popularity was boosted versus Khan and Matthysse, one of them on a Mayweather undercard. Fighting crappy opponents does not make a fighter more popular.
