Dan Rafael said there is a problem with his HBO deal. It was supposed to be a 3 fight deal: Brand, Barrera, Kovalev.

Ward backed out of the Brand fight due to injury. So in Ward's mind, he still has 3 fights left. But HBO is saying, nah.....November was fight #1, Barrera is fight #2 and Kovalev should be next.

Technically, Ward didn't fight so how could they count it against him? That seems ****ed up.

I don't think it's that big of an issue. They'll eventually end up fighting each other in March. I mean Ward pretty much has to take this fight. His credibility is on the line here...
