I think that's because of the fighters that he has no interest in fighting that some people would like to see because of contrasting styles. Canelo hasn't said no to anyone.

mw isnt hot garb..well yes it is, but their are some big punchers there, but that is about it...i do think danny jacobs could get in ggg's chest and give him a good fight, but all he wants to do is get paid..and ggg doesnt want to do that..haymon has those boys getting money and they wont take a back burner to ggg i guess..

Canelo can be whatever the F he wants to. He's fighting Khan in a huge fight worth tons and tons of money and exposure.

GGG will fight some bum whose name I can't even remember. For chump change at that.

          Stay delusional Sanchez.

Same with the Nelo-GGG situation. GGG is on record saying he'd come down to 154 to fight Floyd. So logic says that if you'll do 154 for Floyd, why not 155 for Canelo? Plus, he asked Ward to come down to 164. So unless you're a completely irrational fanboy. There's quite a bit of hypocrisy coming from GGG's camp on weight issues.
Let me explain golovkin going down to 154 for floyd has far different reasons than going down for canelo....
1 Floyd Probably weighs no more than 154lbs maximum come fight time and yet canelo will come into the ring at least 175lbs when he steps in the ring and probably more than golovkin !
2 Floyd mayweather has none or very low power in his punches at welterweight and would not trouble golovkin if he dropped down in weight... so Floyd poses less of a threat if golovkin was weight weakened ...however canelo has shown good power and punches far harder at the weight and if golovkin was weight weakened it might cause more damage.
3 Floyd mayweather was the P4P King of boxing...he is unbeaten and when he faced canelo he literally took him to school so beating canelo represents a far less achievement than beating Floyd mayweather
4 financially a Floyd mayweather vs Gennady golovkin would smash a canelo vs golovkin out the park in terms of purse and PPV revenue so it's common sense that you would go that little bit further in terms weight if the rewards and acclaim are much better....risk & reward yeah ?
4 the bottom line is canelo poses much more of a risk physically than Floyd mayweather if golovkin was to drain down to a lower weight.....common sense
5 it's a mandatory and golovkin has every right to weigh what he wants especially if canelo is pretending to a middlweight champion.

Why is GGG willing to fight DeGale at 168? Also Froch and Chavez Jr?

But with Ward...Sanchez said it had to be 164 or no fight. It's clear as day that they saw Andre as a real threat so they sought the advantage of making him come down in weight.

Now that Canelo is seeking that same advantage I have no sympathy for Team Golovkin.

U haters like to justify one's actions by the financial sense. So why can't you accept the same argument for GGG?
In any case GGG wasn't taking any weight advantage. He made a fair offer to meet at the middle. Do u get the difference?

Chavez was offered a huge payday and an extension of the contract, and on top of that the weight concession of 168. He ducked, lost to Fonfara, and where is he now?

The MW division is 160lbs not 155. Nobody can call themselves the mw champ and insist on fighting for that title at 155lbs without looking like a complete coward. It simply isnt possible, and its even worse when you have decided to fight a ww with a chin made of rice paper for that title. It's an embarrassment.

It's about big fights not belts. If Nelo insists on 155 then that's what it is or sit back fight cans and continue to run through a weak as f.uck MW division but doing that won't raise his profile any higher with or without all the belts.
Vacating the belt won't give Canelo any goodwill either, coz that's the only way he can force a catchweight, otherwise he will get stripped by the wbc for avoiding his mandatory.
