Exactly! Since Canelo keeps saying he's comfortable at 155 then let him come in at 155 while GGG comes in anywhere up till 160.

Canelo is fighting a WW in his next fight for christ sakes. This 155 crap vs GGG can no longer be defended.

K2/Abel/GGG are in no position to negotiate

It's about big fights not belts. If Nelo insists on 155 then that's what it is or sit back fight cans and continue to run through a weak as f.uck MW division but doing that won't raise his profile any higher with or without all the belts.

GGG has stepped aside from his mandatory shot 3 times now. He isn't going to keep doing it forever.

If Canelo persists with his CW demands after the Khan fight, assuming he wins it, K2 should say no deal and demand that the WBC sticks to their word and strips him of the belt.

GGG will then become WBC champ by default and hopefully WBA champ by the end of the year.

Canelo can't keep hiding at 155 forever, and GGG will have all the MW belts. If Canelo wants to stay relevant, and keep the fan base he has right now, he's going to have to fight Golovkin sooner or later.

Obviously you don't know what mandatory means.....it means it's ordered under the rules of the governing body that a defence must be made against a certain fighter...no iffs ...no buts....even if the WBC wanted to change there rules they couldn't and they would be taken to the cleaners legally and be forced to honour what has actually been written in there rule book.....that's a mandatory and that's why you just read Sanchez saying canelo can weight 155 but were weighing 160.....that's written down

Correct. The WBC are legally obliged to stick to their rules regarding mandos.

"A side" means nothing in a law court.

If only Sanchez knew he has no say in anything regarding that diva Canelo.

"To force him down to a certain weight, that's unacceptable."

But it was acceptable when you wanted to force Andre Ward down to 164. Isn't that right, Abel Sanchez?
