Not a PPV though but an HBO type fight.

Ward, Kovalev, Main Events, and HBO have been saying for months now that the plan was for the fight to occur later in the year. Ward signed a contract outlining this. So why now is it that he if he "really wanted to fight Kovalev" it could have been done last weekend. When was he ever offered this fight? A mixture of BS and terrible logic leads to post like yours.

Ward didn't fight Dawson at 175lbs. Also there's obviously a big difference between fighting amateurs at LHW than facing someone of Kovalev's caliber in the professionals.
Don't you want to see the best version of Ward versus the best version of Kovalev? Ward being able to properly acclimate himself to the division provides that opportunity.
Or do you simply want to see Ward lose by any means necessary?

Since all ward stains believe in this contract that has been signed by ward to fight Kovalev, what exactly is in the agreement? Who gets what? Where will it be? When?
