Canelo-Khan. Not nearly as bad as Floyd-JMM

You're not referring to one of those times when Canelo was trying to lure Floyd in and Floyd wouldn't fall for it, right? I don't think Floyd actually hurt Canelo, let alone enough to make him end up on the ropes. Canelo was obviously trying to find some way to counter Floyd and after he realized it wasn't working, he was like "forget it" and just got off the ropes.Comment

They are both bs fights considering the other options involved. Canelo has ggg and the 160 belt. Floyd has pacquiao, mosley, cotto and others but he had the 2 year layoff excuse and jmm is connected to pacquiao. Stop defending this diva move of canelo just because you hate floyd. Jmm was already a proven fighter during that time tooComment

Excellent.It's worse IMO. Here's why...
1. Floyd fought JMM off of a 2 year layoff while JMM was actually ranked on every outlet's P4P list. Khan is nowhere near any P4P list.
2. Floyd vs JMM wasn't for a title at some imaginary weight class of 155. The lineal middleweight title as a matter of fact. Floyd vs Jmm was a tune-up coming off of the layoff mentioned before.
3. While JMM can be caught early and knocked down he has never been stopped. Meanwhile Khan is known for a glass chin, has been stopped by lesser punchers than Canelo, not to mention he looked less than impressive and got rocked by Chris Algieri, Chris freaking Algieri!!!!
While I will say Floyd's win over JMM isn't impressive to me, Canelo folding Khan will be even less impressive
Lastly, will you fools stop bringing up Floyd to try and justify this match-up, it's embarrassing.
Finally there's one person with some rational thought.
Even more interesting is that Marquez, in a normal reality, became the welterweight champion right after that fight, except was robbed of that epic title because of boxing's disgraceful corruption. No matter how you swing it, Bradley lost to Pac, Pac should still have been champ, and Marquez beat the most dominant welterweight champion of that time right after losing to Floyd.
I can't see Khan ever competing at 160 properly and winning big over GGG for instance, which is nearly the equivalent of what Marquez did. Marquez should have been the champion with a legendary win over the best champion there until Floyd came back.Last edited by BennyST; 02-06-2016, 06:30 AM.Comment

Not that I want to get between you two, but that's a pretty bizarre statement to make NE. Hypocritical you think? Bit egocentric maybe?
You accuse a guy of basically being a childish imbecile for saying "Why u on my **** so much?" right after you very wittily accuse him of taking it up the ass from Floyd. I'd go so far as to say that's college level stuff right there! You even, and this is real high brow shakespearean stuff here, take a shot at Floyd himself for having a small ****.
It was good. You really outdid him in the witty insult department there mate. Made him look like a real inbred yokel compared to your university educated 'bum ****ing' and 'small ****' insults.
