Canelo-Khan. Not nearly as bad as Floyd-JMM

If you think Canelo is acting like a b1tch by defending his mw crown against a welterweight, then you must admit that Floyd acted like a super ultra mega b1tch back then when he dragged the midget Marquez, the lightweight champion, all the way to ww as one of the worst cherrypicks of all time.

JMM was at an enormous size and stylistic disadvantage in that joke of a fight. He tried desperately to gain mass by eating burguers at drinking piss, (he didn't have his faithful Memo HeROIDia by his side yet). It didn't work. JMM looked terrible. bloated and sluggish, worst version of JMM ever. Floyd even cheated him on the scales for good measure, came overweight and looked like SMW fighting a midget.

JMM was also at a HUGE disadvantage style wise

I mean, a counterpuncher fighting another counterpuncher, who is BIGGER, FASTER, with longer reach, and who is also a negative, defensive minded ***** who'd even force the midget counterpuncher to lead?! Jeez i wonder how is this going to end?!

At least Khan poses a stylistic challenge to ginger. We know Canelo has cement feet and always struggles with movers. Khan has the advantage in style, footwork, handspeed, movement speed. Khan is taller than Canelo with longer reach too. The real question mark is his chin, will his chin be up for the task? you know that, if they were the same size or if Khan was known for having an iron chin, Khan would be the big favourite here. JMM would never have a chance against Floyd even if they were the same size, styles makes fights.

So if you ever gave Floydette any credit for beating pre-HeROIDia midget JMM (you shouldn't), then you must give much more credit to Canelo after he flattens King Khan

Floyd has been ducking dodging fighters in their prime, its common knowledge...Margarito prime example!

      This is pretty much correct.

Funny thing is... Floyd fans actually mention that JMM win as an achievement and compare it to Pac's struggles against Marquez. Such an insecure fanbase

Y'all are soft. There is nothing wrong with either fight. When you have 2 elite fighters that bring crowds that are a division or 2 apart you find a way to get a deal done.

You are right but I still can't get behind Canelo vs Khan. Canelo may be well on his way to becoming a bigger diva than Cotto, and the main reason why I backed Canelo was because he seemed like an old school warrior.

                It's worse IMO. Here's why...

                1. Floyd fought JMM off of a 2 year layoff while JMM was actually ranked on every outlet's P4P list. Khan is nowhere near any P4P list.

                2. Floyd vs JMM wasn't for a title at some imaginary weight class of 155. The lineal middleweight title as a matter of fact. Floyd vs Jmm was a tune-up coming off of the layoff mentioned before.

                3. While JMM can be caught early and knocked down he has never been stopped. Meanwhile Khan is known for a glass chin, has been stopped by lesser punchers than Canelo, not to mention he looked less than impressive and got rocked by Chris Algieri, Chris freaking Algieri!!!!

While I will say Floyd's win over JMM isn't impressive to me, Canelo folding Khan will be even less impressive

Lastly, will you fools stop bringing up Floyd to try and justify this match-up, it's embarrassing.

Shane went up to fight a prime De la Hoya. Floyd also fought the same Canelo and took his title. I don't get it? Maybe Pac and JMM just weren't as good as we all give em credit for. Broner did the same to fight Maidana. Sort of.

Let the hate flow through you. Embrace the dark side

Are you also implying Khan is better than Canelo? Lmao. Khan's only possible functional advantage is his size (height) but Canelo has fought taller, better, stronger movers... Canelo would be favored vs Khan in any realm. Iron chin or not. Same size or not. There are levels to these things. Khan is NOT Mayweather
