lol it truly is a joke.

the so-called "LINEAL" 160 belt was taken from a shot, crippled Sergio by a busted up past prime WW Cotto @ 155lbs. Since then, it has never been defended at the full 160 weight limit . Always stipulations, conditions, and endless catchweights. Just fight at 154 FFS. Shlt or get off the pot.

floyd's a tiny, little welterweight, according to the fanboys. it adds to the narrative that he's got a better resume than manny pacquiao, who was a genuinely tiny welterweight, won a world title at 112, cemented a hall of fame career from 122-130, was several weight classes smaller than floyd for most of his career, and started his pro career at around 100 lbs.
They weighed like the same exact amount of pounds on fight night at 146-150lbs throughout their WW career. Floyd never weighed abover 150lbs, and in the tail end of his career he would already be aat 147-148lbs one month prior to a WW fight. Yeah right Floyd was huge.

Love is blind. Canelo fans have no shame.

That's because he is a man, more so than all of Haymon's ********. Unfortunately it's difficult to get up for this fight because Khan was ABSOLUTELY DESTROYED at 135 and 140. How will his glass jaw compete with a middleweight puncher?

btw Canelo is a pos. Should be fighting GGG at 160.

I personally don't like the bout but I give Nelo a pass. The man has a quality resume. He isn't scared of a damn thing.

what's more important than the weight is how you got there.

floyd obvious lost weight to get there. why else would you need 750 ML of saline? moderate dehydration is best remedied by drinking water. verifying data backs this up, and is easy for you to get if oyu don't believe me.

floyd was in serious financial toruble with the IRS in '09. he had a fight with juan marquez, and missed weight. he was 146 against marquez. in that same year manny was able to weigh 138 for a fight with ricky hatton. manny's S and C trainer / nutritionist, alex ariza, is on record talking about the massive caloric surplus manny was at during his fights at 147 and also at 140 for hatton.

why was floyd, who owed the IRS a lot of money and was in serious trouble, unable to save himself half a million or so by making weight? why, in that same year, was manny able to weigh 138 lbs? those fights were 6 months apart. you will not have any reasonable answer if you refuse to accept that these two are at least a weight class apart in natural size as late as '09.

again, to distill the argument, floyd missed 144 by 2 lbs and it cost him several hundred thousand dollars. i can provide evidence of his poor financial state leading to his comeback against marquez. the IRS put a lien on him, and it was well documented. he also refused to weigh in on fight night, which he did on several occasions. manny fought at 138 6 months from that time. that's 8 lbs, more than a weight class in boxing. those fights were 6 months apart.

the answer to my quesiton is pretty simple, and obviously i know the answer. manyweather and pacquiao are not the same size. they were separated by at least one weight class for most of their careers.

let's hear some compelling arguments to the contrary. you can't look at their careers, particularly at '09, and tell me those two are the same size, because they clearly are not.

                aaaand go

you cannot provide data for this. it's speculation. floyd neglected to weigh in on fight night on several occasions, therefor the assertionn that he never weighed over 150 cannot be verified.

if anyting, anectodal and circumstantial evidence in the form of 750 ML of saline on the eve of the pacquiao fight supports the idea that he was shedding weight to make 147, and ballooning on fight night.
