I swear the internet works in the funniest ways possible!...so let me get this straight, everyone and their momma entertain the thought of Mayweather vs GGG as a fair fight even though GGG is a full fledged Middleweight and Floyd has only been at 154 twice yet Canelo who isn't a full fledged 160er yet is wrong for fighting a welterweight like Floyd in Amir Khan? i don't get it, Amir should be getting mad praise for doing this, i say this is going to be an entertaining fight and the build up should be good too since both fighters have very solid fan bases

154 is bring Floyd up two divisions, I could have swore he had a title there but what do I know.

If that's the point he's trying to make its a false and very poor one but Floyd himself did drag up a fighter two weight classes.

i could have sworn that he was so dehydrated making 147 to fight manny pacquiao that he needed 750 ML of saline in an IV

floyd's a tiny, little welterweight, according to the fanboys. it adds to the narrative that he's got a better resume than manny pacquiao, who was a genuinely tiny welterweight, won a world title at 112, cemented a hall of fame career from 122-130, was several weight classes smaller than floyd for most of his career, and started his pro career at around 100 lbs.

I find it funny how folks on the internet play ****** and try to make comparison where there is none.

I starting to think some of you guys are brain dead or being paid to post lies.

I know you've been watching boxing for a while, was Pernell Whitaker constancy called a small Welterweight by his fans to amplify his career?

It's not cool, but it's not uncommon.

Marquez jumped up 2 weight classes to fight Floyd. Pacquiao jumped up 2 weight classes to fight De La Hoya. Guerrero jumped up 2 weight classes to fight Aydin.

And I don't see how Canelo's resume is littered with smaller fighters. Sure when he was a little bit young a couple of years, still on the come up, trying to get more experience, he was fighting kind of small guys. But Trout was 170lbs, Lara was a fight everyone wanted Canelo to take, Cotto was a fight everyone wanted to see, everyone wanted Mayweather to take a risk and fight Canelo, Kirkland and Angulo were the same size as Canelo. Rhodes was the same size as Canelo.

I'm against this fight, but it's done. Hopefully we get Canelo vs GGG later in the year and GGG doesn't agree to his 4th step aside paycheck.
