    Did Mayweather ruin Canelo mentally?

ever since that fight he has been caught up on weight, claims he is not ready for 160, but brings up a chinny 147 pounder who has not accomplished jack **** at 147 and then they have the nerve to put this on ppv

I don't think so. He seeks mentally strong to me.

This fight is a mismatch but for some reason I'm looking forward to it.

You've got it backwards. Floyd -- who has always appeared to like Canelo -- is TRAINING him how to be successful in the current era of boxing.

Canelo is copying the older version of Floyd. Get your easy paychecks opportunistically against smallish competitors.

Money is the most important criterion.

Fight tough guys later, especially once they get too old. Get the money where you can now.

Isn't this pretty much Floyd's whole strategy? Hello?

YES! When people complain and say Canelo was weight drained, I laugh. Canelo's advantage has always been and will be to come in on fight night one to two weight classes bigger. That's his MO. Then when Floyd negated that, some fans were pissed. This might be harsh but NO WORLD CLASS OPPONENT or A FIGHTER THAT RESPECTS HIMSELF should get in the ring with Canelo unless there is a rehydration clause. This guy made up his own weight class for goodness sake. Floyd didn't even do that!

Nope he is actually following Mayweather blueprint.

He wanted to fight GGG at a catchweight cause he learned from when mayweather catchweighted him.

He also wants to figth someone a few weight classes below to see if he can handle the faster man speed like what mayweather did with Marquez.

He just following the blueprint of the greatest of this era so far till Canelolujah peaks and takes over that moniker.

Me too. I'm learning to stop taking this sport serious. It will be an action packed short fight with an electric atmosphere.

                    Nope, looks better than ever.

He wasn't ready for the Mayweather fight, it's that simple. He was 23 and got a boxing lesson from the best fighter on the planet, he's taken from that and improved.

In terms of weight, I just wish he'd start doing 154 again. He made 155 easy for Cotto, he can make 154.
