Canelo's won 4 fights in a row against pretty good competition.

So no, not at all.

Mayweather didn't really ruin many dudes, at least not the last 10 years or so of his career. He ducked and dodged and potshot dudes for 12 rounds and they went on with their career. The dudes who struggled after they lost to him (Ortiz and Guerrero off the top of my head) I don't think were all that good in the first place.

Nope he is actually following Mayweather blueprint.

He wanted to fight GGG at a catchweight cause he learned from when mayweather catchweighted him.

He also wants to figth someone a few weight classes below to see if he can handle the faster man speed like what mayweather did with Marquez.

He just following the blueprint of the greatest of this era so far till Canelolujah peaks and takes over that moniker.
