I've never felt he was ever scared to actually be in the ring with any fighter. I think he has been extremely cautious in the past few years about fighting any kind of high risk/low reward fights incase of messing up paydays. I still completely believe he is afraid to lose to Kell Brook, but not afraid to fight him. Losing to him in the UK is just too damaging for his career. I'm sure he believes he could beat Kell Brook but that "what if" is just too risky for him i believe.

The reason he will face Canelo is the same reason he wanted Manny and Floyd. It pays well and if he loses then so what? he was expected to. He doesn't have much to lose in this situation apart from the fight itself. His reputation won't really take a hit and he'll make money and IF he won, his stock is huge. It's an excellent business move.

Well, this will be a huge payday for him.

I always like to see two big names fight, no matter what happens. Something about the familiarity, kind of like Mayweather and Pac. Of course, this fight will definitely be WAY better than that one.

I understand what he was doing, but ducking is of course, ducking. And well, for business reasons even, it's still ducking.

But this fight definitely is going into the lion's den and I respect that.
