    I Respect Amir Khan's Courage

I've never been much a of a fan of Khan, but I don't hate him either. He's always been sort of lukewarm to me- good boxing skills, nice speed, decent power, not a good chin but has survived a few rocky moments.

Overall, I've just looked at him as somewhat of a factor in the sport, but not a huge factor.

Now, this guy who has been knocked out by Prescott and Garcia who were at 140 and decent punchers at best, is jumping up to 160 to face Canelo who is a known puncher who will no doubt land on him.

Either way you look at it, that takes courage.

I'm also happy to see him land a fight against SOMEBODY. It has been too long with him searching around.

As far as his chances, I don't know. I thought Chris Algieri got to him much more than a guy who lost in such a lopsided fashion to Pacquiao should. Khan will have to do the best work of his career to survive this.

However, I have to say, if Khan does win, that will be huge for his career and the big money fights will definitely come then.

If he gets knocked out, I don't see big money fights ever coming his way again.

This is a huge risk and one that takes courage. I respect him for that.

Got to agree. The guy is delusional but he has big balls. Going to Caneloweight when ur chin is weak like that, got to respect that. I was big time surprised when I saw the news. He will get ko thats for sure. But hey, he was looking for a big payday, wich he will get and IF, yes I said IF, he manages to win, he will become a big star.

I give him credit for taking this fight. Like my chihuahua he lacks self awareness, meaning he can easily bite off more than he can chew. I often have to pick him up and save him from getting whipped by dogs he challenges. Amir needs someone in his corner to take him out of harms way.

I am not an Amir khan fan..... But I am not against him in this fight. He like my lil chihuahua Jhonny deserves respect for having big balls.

IF he wins, he becomes the premier star outside of Fury in the sport (until May and Pac decide to reignite their careers). By the time a Floyd come back looms, khan would most certainly be in the driver's seat, especially if he then moves back down and picks up a welter crown.

I give him credit for taking the fight. A lot of fighters complain about not getting the big fights, he was one of them, and as fans we tell typically say that if they want the big fights they should be prepared to move up and take the risk. Amir Khan did that.

Khan has long been frustrated chasing Mayweather and Pacquiao, this fight seems to be a mismatch on paper but it is still better than Pacquiao-Bradley 3.

Courage? First of all, Khan is going to make a SERIOUS amount of money.

Plus there's a fine line between courage and ******ity. Before the fight, it looks like courage. After the brutal KO, however....

i wouldn't be surprised if the reason khan has been so chinny over the years, was because he's got a gigantic set of balls weighing him down.
