You do realise that Cruiserweights weigh in at 200 pounds and still rehydrate a few more pounds over. Sending Kovalev into a match up with Lebedev would be moronic on so many levels that I can not explain. Not only would he likely lose but he would probably absorb alot of punishment in the fight.

Kovalev doesn't have to fight a chump in his next fight but that makes far more sense in the lead up to a Ward fight.
The mere fact that you think Kovalev would lose to Lebedev only further shows that you don't know a muthaf.uck'n thing about boxing.

You do realise that there are 25 pounds between Lebedev and Kovalev.... Lebedev is already a hard punching cruiserweight as it is. You must be absolutely ******ed to think Kovalev would be favoured. Just because Kovalev is a big LHW doesn't mean he can jump up 25 pounds. Where is the evidence of Kovalev rehydrating into the 190s also?? he doesn't hide his fight night weight and he's usually about 185. You have an agenda clearly.

The fact that you proposed this idea as a lead up to Ward fight means you actually are ******ed.

Fear of seeing favs lose, or even challenged is at an all-time high. You my friend are a pathetic excuse for a fight fan.

Every great light heavyweight in history tried his luck at heavyweight. Today's supposed great light heavyweight can't even fight a lil short, pudgy, B class cruiserweight in the minds of his fans. Who would have known. A Kovalev "hater" thinx more of his abilities than his cum guzzlers.

That's laughable considering I'm not a Kovalev fan..... I'm not trolling with the Ward avi and I hope he wins the Kovalev fight (I think he will), so you confirm my su****ions of mental ******ation or extreme bias at least.

I'm not among the likes of you though that set difficult or unfair expectations of fighters you don't like and give fighters you like the benefit of the doubt when they take easier routes.

Look in the mirror you are the pathetic excuse of a fight fan lool.

Bob Foster, Billy Conn, Ezzard Charles, Michael Spinks, Roy Jones, and the list goes on and on. Unrealistic expectations huh.

Never said Kovalev can't move up in weight eventually, in a previous post I said he can do that IF HE PLANS ON STAYING THERE.

My question is why would he fight the cruiserweight champion as a lead up to the Ward fight???? Why would you expect him to do that? You don't think that could affect the Ward fight in a number of ways???

I feel like I'm talking to a brick wall here, bro you can't be this ****** or biased. Take your time and think about it.

I don't see how it affects the Ward fight. If he wins, he can fight Ward at light heavy. If he loses, he's still the light heavy champ, and can defend his title against Ward.

I'm not apart of this "let it marinade" boxing world we live in today. We may wake up tomorrow and read that Andre Ward has died overnight. So until he and Kovalev sign to fight, and its each's next fight, it has no barring on what I wanna see either do. Fights fall apart all the time.

A more reasonable post from you but tell me this.... what happened to Roy when he went up to 195 and came back down? .... What happened to Tarver in his next fight after when he went up in weight for that Rocky movie?.... Even if Kovalev wins the fight at cruiser who is to say it won't have consequences.

I don't want Ward to be robbed of fair credit if he is able to beat Kovalev, we don't need any weight related dynamics added to this matchup. People are gonna cry about clinches and headbutts whether they happen or not so lets not give them valid excuses. This is all hypothetical because Team Kovalev would never consider this idea, it's not intelligent at all I'm sorry to say.

There is no marinating here because the fight has a set time frame will not happen until the fall so it doesn't really matter what either guy does between now and then as long as they don't lose.

Roy chose to beef up. Tarver chose to beef up. Kovalev can simply train as he always does, minus whatever weight cutting he does to make 175. Problem solved.

BTW, I'm not seeking any approval from you. So you can save your "more reasonable post" nonsense. I think your stance is ridiculous, just as you think mine is. That's why we have varying opinions.
