You do realise that Cruiserweights weigh in at 200 pounds and still rehydrate a few more pounds over. Sending Kovalev into a match up with Lebedev would be moronic on so many levels that I can not explain. Not only would he likely lose but he would probably absorb alot of punishment in the fight.

Kovalev doesn't have to fight a chump in his next fight but that makes far more sense in the lead up to a Ward fight.

For the record I am black so if I'm telling you that then don't just take it with a pinch of salt. I'm not saying you're racist, but there are a few posters here that don't cover themselves in glory with their racially motivated double standards. That goes for both sides.

I never said he had to fight someone easy in his next fight, I stated that the idea of wanting him to fight a cruiserweight champion was crazy and had no purpose other than getting Kovalev beat which would probably ruin the Ward fight depending on what type of beating he got from Lebedev. If you agree with the guy that posted that suggestion then I stand by what I said.

As a fan I want the Ward fight to happen, Kovalev doesn't have to fight someone easy in his next fight (I'd prefer it was at least a top 15 or top 20 LHW) but he certainly shouldn't leave his weightclass and head 25 pounds up north unless he plans on staying there.

Its pretty much what boxing has come to bro. Fanboys that get off watching their fanboys beat up on no-hopers. What these idiots don't realize is that Kovalev has height and reach advantages over both. He himself has rehydrated in the 190s.and more importantly, he'd completely destroy either guy.

But I'm just a fight fan that wants to see interesting match-ups. Amd wants to see guys dare to be great. I guess if I were simply a GGG fanboy that's hoping like hell Kovalev can knock Ward off and keep him away from Gennady. What those two clown muf.uckaz were saying would make more sense.
