Implying Mayweather could box and move anywhere as good as Leonard could lmfao, Mayweather is a small guy who is there to be hit he'd get backed up against the ropes and beat up.

Yes all these amazing things Floyd's supposed to be able to do yet he never did it against anyone as good as Duran did.

Floyd did it against short arm fighter with no physical advantages, or they were flat foiotefd or slow . I mean even dlh in his prime was kind OK not too bad, but Floyd gets the leftovers.

Do it against GGG someone with more of as complete package and not missing 2 or 3 important attributes. Be disadvantaged to see what Floyd is really made of. Instead of always trying to get things in his favour

I love the boxing historians here. To summarize this thread:

"Floyd beat Castillo, Cotto, and Maidana and he would never lose to Kirkland Laing or quit against Leonard. So that means Floyd schools Duran easy. 49 tried and 49 failed, so he also beats Leonard and Hearns like he did everyone else." Lmao

Laing was the gifted one. Floyd e might well lose to him. Duran wouldn't lose to anyone Floyd fought in 49 fiugfhts

floyd never fought a fighter close to the duran who beat ray leonard. let's not forget how hes struggled with jose luis castillo, who does nothing better than duran.

he woulldn't even fight druan. wouldn't fight the tommy hearns that ray leonard beat, either. he wouldn't even fight these guys. he'd retire, find another division, etc. health comes first.

just think of all the lesser fighters than duran who had mayweather on the ropes. think about how little offense floyd produces on the ropes compared to the assualt on ray leonard in the first fight. leonard's just as fast as mayweather, he's also stronger, has a better chin, and he's a much harder puncher. duran backed him up and beat him up.

                maidana
                cotto
                even victor freaking ortiz
these guys had floyd on the ropes!

duran's chin and power carried to 160. watch him knock iran barkley, a very strong MW, around the ring if you didn't believe me.

Mayweather has a deeper overall resume...more title fight wins, defeated more champions and titleholders....more lineal titles....more title defenses than Duran......one name doesnt tell the whole story....Mayweather also never lost to someone who was good but not great like Esteban De Jesus in his prime or a journeyman like KirkLand Laing at age 31

Duran is great, both are but where im from....shouldve couldve wouldve dont mean shyt

You lost your damn mind. Floyd would be on ropes all night. Duran would win with activity.
