Who in the past compares to Kovalev's meanness?

Ya true..Take a guy like Nigel Benn, well he seems ok out of the ring but in the ring he was a bad man but once he damaged McClellan he was never the same, same with Eubank after he hurt Watson for good. The point is, these are fighting men or they wouldn't be in the game but they obviously weren't mean enough to maintain the mentality they had once they had hurt someone in the way they did.
Kovalev on the other hand has literally killed one of his opponents yet still had a total mean streak where he wants to hurt his opponents. I think that is about as mean as you can get surely? It's not his words that are mean, it's his intent.
I really like kov but he is A baaaaaaaaad man
That coldness would send chills down your spine, would not like to get in the way of him, if I was ward I would stay very silent and just slip away hahaComment

No one, because
He killed a man before because of his beating
and after that he still act cold
if roman didn't die, then sergey's meanness just like foreman ,etc
of course there a few boxers that killed a man in the ring because of their beating
but the difference is they become melodramatic after that for the rest of their career
kovalev remain cold and sadist after a match against roman
thats why kovalev is the meanest boxer in the history of boxing
------------------------------------------------------------------------
its like a comparison of a gangster beat up a guy until that guy handicaped
and
there is a guy that drop many bombs on villages and dont get melodramatic about killing hundredsLast edited by Cled; 01-31-2016, 12:26 AM.Comment

Most boxers chat shit because they don't expect the unfortunate to happen. Kovalev has killed an opponent before, so he knows first hand what can happen in the ring, but he continues talking about making his suffer and has gone out of his way to prolong a fight to meet that goal.
He is a disgusting, deplorable and evil human being.Comment

Relax your battys, I dont think he is out there to intentionally KILL another fighter. I think he goes in there to win by KO if you piss him off he will KO you in a more tortured gruelling way. Either way its a sport they signed up for its not somewhere you make friends, Pascal talked too much shyt and paid the price. If someone remains civil throughout the build up I highly doubt Sergei would want to beat them to a pulp, rather just get a quick stoppage win. Everyone here talks as if they know the man personally, how do we know his opponents unfortunate death didnt affect him.Comment

Adonis looked pretty mean in there as he lunged at Kovalev with all his might. Only the quick action of 3 strong men were able to prevent a bloodbath.Comment

Liston, Foreman, Duran, were probably meaner. Kovalev is what boxing needs. Like Ali said, "it's boxing. I'm out to be cruel!"Comment

This seems spot on with Kovalev. He doesn't seem like one who is going to let someone get away with a remark or slight and is going to make it personal from that point on. He's a guy who appears to value respect a lot and if you don't show it to him than he won't ever show it back.Take a guy like Nigel Benn, well he seems ok out of the ring but in the ring he was a bad man but once he damaged McClellan he was never the same, same with Eubank after he hurt Watson for good. The point is, these are fighting men or they wouldn't be in the game but they obviously weren't mean enough to maintain the mentality they had once they had hurt someone in the way they did.
