Who in the past compares to Kovalev's meanness?

    Young George Foreman?

I know Ali, Mayorga, Toney and Tyson were pretty mean but they were somewhat funny too and were doing it for the show. Sergey is just mean and cold. Even his humor is cold.

The post fight interview gave me chills. And Kova mind****ed Max, Pascal and Adonis.

Jake Lamotta was reputedly much meaner. Just a mean human being. Kovalev seems ok in his personal life, aside from being a racist douche.

Yeah but Jake Lamotta wasn't the punisher that Kova is, so when Kova says stuff like this especially when he's killed somebody in the ring.

i would say duran but kovalev is a bit different.

Duran would just go all out crazy on you while kovalev has that reserved cool calm collected douchebaggery style about him.

        He's mean but controlled mean.

Yeah, Jake LaMotta comes to mind. Too bad Ward's nothing like Robinson.

Take a guy like Nigel Benn, well he seems ok out of the ring but in the ring he was a bad man but once he damaged McClellan he was never the same, same with Eubank after he hurt Watson for good. The point is, these are fighting men or they wouldn't be in the game but they obviously weren't mean enough to maintain the mentality they had once they had hurt someone in the way they did.

Kovalev on the other hand has literally killed one of his opponents yet still had a total mean streak where he wants to hurt his opponents. I think that is about as mean as you can get surely? It's not his words that are mean, it's his intent.
