Fighter of the decade... Calling it now
He's got some good momentum going that's for sure, so it's not out of the question. I'd personally be reluctant to make a guess at this point. Too many things can change.

      Estrada( currently WBA/WBO world champ)
Yaegashi( WBC Lineal champ at the time and currently IBF World Champion)
Viloria( Seasoned very skilled Multi World champion)

Kovalev will NEVER be a three time world champion, like many LHW boxers he don´t want to go to 168 or to full heavy weight.

      King Chocolatito >>>>> Kovalev
i'll accept that argument but i gotta see what Andre Ward does at LHW

He's fought a little more than half way. He fought 6 years of this decade, he will be missing 4 years. 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15. He'll be missing 16, 17, 18, 19. He can come back 2017 fight Pac or Bradley, who ever wins, Pac would likely say yes to a rematch and come out of retirement if Floyd contacts him seriously and neither of them do it through the media. Then take a break 2018. Then 2019 fight either Thurman, Garcia, Porter, Khan if they still linger as top 10 guys. And that should do it. But I doubt Floyd cares one bit about that. His fans care more about him winning awards than he does. He only cares about money. Floyd is a delayed thinker though. He's careless now but years from now he's going to question why he was snubbed for FOTD again, just like he did in the 2000s. Two perfectly scheduled fights would for sure get him FOTD this decade, but to him those 2 probably feel like too much since he's all ****** up and old now.

          Yes obviously things can change

Him, roman, canelo, Ward are about the only guys I see with a legit chance now, especially if floyd stays retired

Lmao... One fight when he was green.. That he won..
Name a fighter of the decade that never struggled vs an inferior opponent?

Campilliio was at the peak of his career when sergey fought him, gabe was totally shot when facing Browne...

It's really not very hard to understand,, tarver ko's roy.. Huge achievement, danny green stops him and it's not a big achievement.. But using your flawed logic they would be the same, just as kovalev and Browne have the same caliber win supposedly..

He was a highly regarded contender that should have had 2 belts.. I'm not making him out to be Bob foster

You said he was "clearly a unified champion" which is not true and yes, he was in two close fights but the thing with close fights is, they can go either way. Sadly, a lot of fans these days and fighters have what I like to call Marquez syndrome, i.e. they believe every close fight was a robbery.
