With that being said, I do think HBO is doing him a disservice by them being more invested in GGG and Canelo but not as much in Kovalev, I think I posted this in another thread when everybody was trying Crowning Roman Gonzalez and GGG #1 P4P. Why not Kovalev as P4P King? He has a Good Resume and the man is destroying everything they put in front of him.

I been saying I do think that Kovalev vs Ward will be for the Undisputed #1 P4P Crown of course if Ward takes care of business and make it to Kovalev. People shouldn't just overlook Barrera, that dude is a talent and he can crack, very dangerous test for Ward!

But I have Kovalev #1 P4P because the man is not depending on Hype like others, he is going out, taking on all comers and destroying them.

Kovalev has been my p4p #1 since floyd retired

He has a legit argument for being #1 P4P no doubt about that, even before last night I thought he was #1 P4P Worthy

He has destroyed everything in his path..

No one has ever beaten up hopkins before

No one has ever stopped pascal, let alone twice

Destroyed undefeated champ cleverly in his hometown

Destroyed campillo when he was basocally a unified champ

Got Ward my #2 guy, running, dodging, ducking

Name a fighter that has been more dominant with better wins in recent years

Campillo? Really? So is Marcus Brown P4P for stopping Campillo in 1? The guy fights smaller men. He should fight Beterbiev. But he preferred Cedric Agnew. Danny Garcia has better wins.

              Lmao...

Before kovalev beat campillo, gabe had been robbed in a couple of title fights, and was clearly a unified champ when fighting kovalev.
Marcus Browne fought a totally shot campillio. If you followed boxing for awhile, this stuff shouldn't need to be elaborated

Danny Garcia has struggled and has been clearly beaten but saved by gifts.. Kovalev really hasn't broken a sweat since he hit the big time

Oh ****, I totally forgot, so the best 3 wins this decade are JMM/May > Pac and Fury > Wlad, again JMM is suffering the same issues as May, namely age and where does he go from here, not to mention controversy surrounding JMM and Memo AND the fact that JMM has already lost to Pac this decade and then lost by wide margins to Bradley.

So, even if Mayweather and later on Fury are in conversation for FOTY, JMM most definitely will not be.

You clearly haven't watched Boone vs Kovalev 1.

I like how beating Campillo makes Kovalev P4P but not Browne and Fonfora. He'll be exposed soon enough anyway.

                    Whaaaaaaat???

If you think he beat Cloud and Shum, fair enough but there was nothing clear about it and Campillo was the champion of nothing.

                      Domination of hopkins

                      Took cleverly's '0'

Throw in future stoppage wins over stevenson, Ward, beterbiev

Fighter of the decade... Calling it now
It's early of course but he will be a candidate regardless. He still needs to beat as you say Chickenson, Ward and Beterbiev. Toughest fights ahead still, but also the best!
