It's not just that he's winning, it's how frighteningly easy it is. He destroyed Campillo when Campillo should have been a unified champion. Goes into Cleverly's hometown and beats him so bad that by the end of the 3rd the ref is carrying the guy back to the corner. Absolutely toyed with Hopkins and Pascal.

    He might be something special.

yea but what if he held, clinched, and headbutted his way through ugly wins in his hometown with help from the ref? then he would be really special!

Fighter of the decade... Calling it now
IF those fights happens and it's a big IF, then yes, I'd agree with you, he would be an exceptional candidate for the award but let's not forget, the two best, stand alone victories this decade belong to Fury > Wlad and Mayweather > Pacquiao. Now, Mayweather only has a handful of years left and will never have another win like that, even considering that Pacquiao was a badly faded adversary and injured. Fury has age and opponents on his side, there's still Wilder, Pov, AJ and some guys who might come up in the coming years.

Other candidates, again because of age and/or possible fights, include guys like Crawford, Canelo, GGG, Khan, AJ, Ward and Bradley. Let's not forget Quigg, Frampton, Inoue, Gonzalez and co either.

Hell no. Most Fighters Of The Decade are champs at different weight classes.

Pascal had already lost twice before the first Pascal appearance to Bhop and Froch... gtfoh

And that's exactly why it has to happen. Last night's outcome was pretty predictable but Kovalev looked good and ready. Now Ward has to do his part.

that's why there's a realistic list in which a committee chooses from, not just a piece of paper with one name on it.
