This dude just dumped his WBC belt in so many words, WBA thinks they are about to squeeze him over some fees? LMAO...good luck with that. Doesn't Cotto only have one fight left with Roc Sports? I guess fight for the belt, finish your contract and fight Lara since he won't have any promotional ties.

Cotto has a chance to win against Lara. Styles makes fights. I doubt Lara pushes Cotto backwards for the majority of the fight.

Lara works Cotto, possibly sparks him out late.
It may just be me but I have a hard time seeing Cotto beat any top level opponent at this stage in his career. He's been on the decline.
Even tho the judges cards were ridic vs Canelo he still lost, and I don't rate Nelo high, but he's good and rewatching the fight Cotto looked bad.
He should be carefully matched maybe 2 more fights and he'll be done. But I doubt RNS will match him up easy, they need a ROI which I'm sure they haven't gotten yet.

- This fight would be horrible for Cotto, another guy who is much bigger than he is, can box, and has the reach advantage. I was hoping for Marquez/Cotto at say 150-152. He cant keep fighting big dudes anymore, The size difference in the Canelo fight was rediculous.

Styles makes fights, Cotto would take a very hard beating from Lara. Lara might be on par with Rigondeaux as the most elusive fighter since Floyd left, Cotto's got some **** but that nasty reach and those sniper straights would hurt him.
Lara by decision, easy pick.
