I would bet money that the fight would end exactly like that.

To each, his own. I love both fighters for their very high boxing IQ.

Doesn't sound like they are eliminating anything to me and I don't think Cotto can beat Lara.

The WBA needs to eliminate itself. WBA is talking like Cotto needs the crappy little alphabet org.

I wouldn't fight Lara if I were Coto... the guy just runs and wins rounds doing nothing... I had him losing like 10-2 vs Canelo, he lost to Carlos Molina and was losing to Vanes..

Lara is a cancer in boxing... Cotto would be better off fighting a big name for a pay day and call it a day..

So Lara is not moving to 160?

Well thenI am sure Cotto Will then give him a shot at the jmw title provided it Will take place at 148.

I actually like this fight. I think it's a tough fight for Cotto at this stage in his career, although i'd probably pick him to win a close fight.

It is a real risk though, and maybe the kind of match-up style wise Cotto won't want to take with being at the back end of his career.

Does this mean they are intending on ordering Golovkin/Jacobs at some point?
