I think more so if you get ko'd a number of times they should force you to retire.

Have aged divisions, or a senior circuit. Say, after age 45 you can only figh in the senior circuit of 45 to 50, then 50 to 55 and so on.

Its not age to a certain point, its because then we wouldn't be seeing BH still doing it. But if you've been knocked a certain amount of times then someone should be allowed to step in or if your so far from your best and your opponent is not too far off their best like enzo wasLast edited by hugh grant; 01-29-2016, 04:00 PM.

I agree with Froch , what limit i'm not sure but certainly around 50 in such a hard and vicious sport where the intentions are to hurt and knockout the opponent it's most definitely too old . It's the duty of governing bodies to keep the sport as safe as can be and as Froch just recently said regards a fighters decline 'the fighter is the first to know but the last to admit it' but good luck on that one.I think one of the hardest things to say to a guy when he's done the sport a good service is you're finished it's over when that's all the man knows.

But if the limit is 45 but you are still beating the best in the world and your 46 it would be unfair to say you can't fight?

There's a big difference between old hopkins who was still fighting because he had a later start and eats super healthy and still feels good
And Jones who was shot years ago and kept fighting because promoters kept promising tp pay off his tax debt
