with the myriad of drugs and supplements available now and being made to further enhance and prolong a pro athletes lifespan, its quite difficult to find a number everybody can agree on.
each fighter/person ages differently.

I completely disagree with Froch.
Introducing " idiot " laws (ruling for the lowest common-denominator) is absurd, and must stop.
It is destroying the world and creating Nanny-states.
I can't get a hot cup of coffee from the local cafe' because some idiot b1tch spilled her hot drink (most likely by slamming on her brakes because she didn't see the car in front of her stop sharply because she was too busy putting on her lippy in the rear-view mirror) and then returned to the cafe' to complain bitterly.
Their solution is to turn the temperature down on the coffee machine, so now everybody suffers because 1 idiot cannot be responsible for her own ******ity.
This issue is extreme, so should not be solved by " law "..... the issue is that Jones does not appear to have the god-given common-sense required to see that he is beyond shot....... AND, that he does not appear to have anyone close to him who cares for his well-being.
Jones trainer should be tied up, pissed on, then dragged behind a horse.
A " law " or " rule " would negate Hopkins/Foreman/etc.
I have seen the exact same problem here with one of my guys, Sean Sullivan..... his family petitioned the commission to revoke his license, citing brain injury, slurred speech, diminished mental capacity, etc.
The commissions and trainers need to take more responsibility.
I agree that in the ridiculous sue-happy country that is the USA, you most likely need an " idiot-clause " to remove yourself from liability, but Jones does not live in the states.

The idea that a few guys have mentioned, based on the number of times that a fighter has been knocked out..... has some merit, and should likely be investigated further. Age won't work, it just won't.
