It could be that Ryabinski was ok with the fight happening in the States if Povetkin got a better deal than the mandated purse split, but Haymon is playing hard ball now that he has the IBF title fight between Wilder and Martin as an option.

      Embarrassing

Haymond knows Alex is coming for that belt. I put money on it too. AP would ko Wilder and Martin in the same night.

All I know is that Wilder has never fought a top 5 world ranked heavyweight. Maybe he never will.

It's a shame that Ryabinsky has decided to negotiate this fight through the media.

No surprise to see all the gullible bastards eat it up.

You are wrong. Stiverne was rated #3.

Wilder already got the worst ratings in his last fight, people are sick of him fighting bum after bum and ducking his mandatory. There is the magic of the internet and social media nowadays that the PBC cheerleaders cannot fool the public and make them believe that Wilder is da shiz.

Haymon will probably try to do the Martin fight and avoid Povetkin. If he does that Wilder and Haymon become the biggest clowns in boxing.

Wilder will never fight Fury either
He wasn't made to wait. The WBC announced in June of 2015 that negotiations will begin in October of 2015 and the fight will take place in January 2016. Povetkin was supposed to fight Wilder two weeks ago but instead he choose to schedule a fight in November and he told the WBC he wouldn't be ready for the fight in January.

Wilder is the A side and Povetkins team needs to understand that.
And when Povetkin's team bid $20m and win the purse bid for the fight to take place in Russia, what you gonna say then

Story after story of belt vacating due to facing or not facing mandatories. Rigondeaux comes to immediate mind, Algieri, Quillin (but that was a blatant duck)...

The only one I can think of not forced to vacate was Floyd, until he retired.

I don't think Wilder would willingly drop his title to go after another one. It wouldn't make sense.
