Man, Canelo fought a bum before Cotto and you consider him great. What makes a fighter great is the adversity they face. The reason GGG is doubted is becuase he has never faced true adversity. Lemiuex was suppose to be that but was outsmarted. Canelo and GGG are on different levels. GGG is a great fighter with a good chin and superior punching power. Canelo is slow with good counterpunching but no head movement like GGG. And Honestly Canelo was embarrassed by Mayweather. He looked like a rookie

look, you can make an argument as to whether Lara could be considered a quality opponent, but regardless the outcome of that debate the bottom line is that GGG vs. Lara is NOT a great fight by any measure. There are only 2 outcomes: Either GGG blasts Lara out in 5, or Lara puts on his track shoes and stinks out the place. Neither outcomes qualifies as "great"

look, you can make an argument as to whether Lara could be considered a quality opponent, but regardless the outcome of that debate the bottom line is that GGG vs. Lara is NOT a great fight by any measure. There are only 2 outcomes: Either GGG blasts Lara out in 5, or Lara puts on his track shoes and stinks out the place. Neither outcomes qualifies as "great"

why are those the only 2 outcomes? that's just you as a GGG fan deflecting. Lara very well could box GGG's ears off and win a clear UD. If GGG can't handle the movement and can't cut off the ring, that just means he isn't as good as some think.

Now its likely GGG will win and he'd be a huge favorite, but you guys and this track shoes stuff need to get a grip. It's on GGG to cutoff the ring and do things to neutralize an opponent's movement. It's not on the opponent to just stand there.

just like it was on pac to cut off the ring against floyd right? simply landing the much cleaner punches wasn't good enough. he had to do what you wanted and if he didn't he lost. it's not on any fighter to do anything. no fighter should start at a disadvantage and have to meet your fantasy standards. a boxing match is won based on clean punches, however that is accomplishd. you have a strange way of looking at boxing. a biased way i would say.

what kind of whiny response is this? Floyd/Manny scoring has nothing to do with GGG/Lara possibly fighting. If a guy is boxing and moving and you are a power puncher, you should learn how to cut off the ring.

If you can't, you likely will lose as you will have more punches land on you then on the other guy.

You'd have a point if my scoring of the fight was the outlier. My scoring is in line with 95% of those that scored the fight. the only bias is you being upset the guy you wanted to win lost.

absolutely not, but he has one of the strongest haters in the sport for sure. Even the Degale fight which a lot of GGG fans hope for.... the haters come in and say "Ward doe" who the **** cares, is Ward the only word that GGG haters know?

Do you think majority of GGG fans don't want to see Lara fight GGG? i doubt it, most of us want to see that fight, however most of us (or at least me) am of the opinion that it will not be competitive, and the only reason i want to see that fight is so that majority of these recent Lara fanboys (aka GGG detractors) who popped on the scene would just shut up already about Lara.

Is Lara even the man at 154? he would be coming up against the fearsest middleweights in recent years. Just think of it this way, if someone like Jack Badou who is one of the top SMW would start calling out Sergey Kovalev... just as a comparison. Lara isn't a world beater and he doesn't have the style to beat GGG, can he win? yes... i give him 10% chance but that's it... and don't kid yourself i doubt any GGG fan is scared of GGG losing that fight... but if he does then major props for Lara
