Comments Thread For: Golovkin-Wade: 30 Days For Unfamilar Bedfellows To Agree

The hunt continues in search of a suitable opponent for Gennady Golovkin’s next ring appearance.

Whether or not Dominic Wade fits the “suitable” criteria remains to be seen. For now, he’s among the few boxers in the world willing to next face the man universally recognized as the best middleweight in the world and will spend the next few weeks fielding offers in exchange for his services.

Hopefully this goes to purse bid. I'd love to see if Golovkin fights for the biggest available paycheck or if he vacates the belt like the coward that he is.

Nah ... only Haymon fighters pull tricks like that.

I think you misread "Wade" for "Ward".

          Lmfao!

Imagine mistaking Ward for being in the middleweight division.

Dominic Wade would be a good name to add to the resume for Golovkin If this one happens, Wade got a bit lucky against Soliman but still he pulled it off will he go one step bigger?

Things would get very interesting if this went to purse bids.

If k2 is trying to match up GGG with a haymon fighter they are clearly duckin Lara. GGG vs Lara would be the best available fight right now for both fighters. They can and should make it happen

Comes with the IBF with the BS mandatory fights... but I just hate this fight so much. I hope they schedule another fight in late May or June because Wade is going to get absolutely crushed.

My only hope is they try and make this a good card, but it probably won't. I don't think Roman will fight a good opponent either, so might as well make him fight his mando.

Only plus for me is if it's a 3 fight televised card with Usyk on it

Man this fight is the pits, bloody mandatory fights can stink to high heaven somtimes. But with BJS ducking in the UK & Canelo, well being Canelo, what choice does GGG have at 160?!
