This is why I try to keep talk strictly to what an athlete does when he's performing. Both of these dudes no matter how great they were in the sport have done some messed up shhh outside of the ring.

I agree. If you had to do a background check on most fighters, you'd find out that they aren't as great as their promoters and the networks they fight on make them out to be, which is why I generally disregard my own reservations about a fighter's personal life when enjoying them doing their job in the ring. If other people are unable to, I understand completely. What I find perplexing though is that people will love/idolize/whatever certain fighters who have shady pasts, but then dislike another fighter because of the same type of past.
