I think they made a mistake with their 1st ppv. The should have sold it for 19.99. GGG vs Lara? No. It would do more harm than good. Lara might stink up the joint, I mean....box beautiful ,so only Mayweather fans would buy the PPV. BUT May fans like quality so at 49.99 they might not bite, it would have to be 79.99 or above.

Right, but on PPV? David was on PPV but he's a legitamite puncher. He may not be technical nor highly skilled but he does have one punch ko power, and many were interested to see how well GGG would take his heavy handed punches. Lara brings nothing to the table that would trouble GGG. On the other hand, GGG's style gives Lara nightmares.

Measuring stick? Nah, more like a limp twig. Lara isn't even a middleweight, how would a 154 pounder give GGG's resume anymore validity? If anything it would give his harsh critics more ammo to bash him and claim he's now bringing up smaller fighters to smash on.

For ****s sake, look at what the critics are saying about Canelo they claim he's picking on smaller fighters by dragging them up one whole pound! One... Whole... Entire... Pound.. And they are bashing him over it lol. Yet they turn a blind eye at the fact that all the names aside from Cotto that Canelo has fought at "caneloweight" benefit from the one pound margin as well. Just look at their fight night weights for further proof.

GGG is in a lose lose predicament with this fight. If he wins, Lara would be labeled as too small, cherry picked, etc... If GGG happens to lose, he gets "exposed" and Lara is a God.

No. The Lemieux fight shouldn't have been either.

It depends on the fight card, tbh

I ended up doing otherwise (house party for Mayweather-Alvarez, closed circuit for Mayweather-Pacquiao, theaters+night on the town for Mayweather-Berto), but I was ready to pony up the PPV cost for those fights (wasn't going to pass up seeing Floyd's last fight, especially with Jack-Groves and Martinez-Salido on the undercard. Mayweather-Guerrero and the two Maidana fights weren't going to get my PPV money (though I did head out to my sports bar, paying the $20 cover, to see those three fights).

Kovalev-Stevenson, Ward-Golovkin, and Fury-Wilder to unify the heavyweight belts are all fights that will get my PPV dollar, without much care for the undercard (though hopefully the undercards aren't utter ****).

Every other matchup gets considered for PPV on a card-by-card basis.

If the card was Golovkin-Lara, Gonzalez-Estrada 2, and Cecilia Braekus' US debut, for $50sd/$60hd, it'd get my money, without much doubt.

Nope. Neither is big enough to warrant it.

I'd buy it for that price.

That's to much on GGG, Lara has no ppv clout at all. ppv can't be one sided without the opponents help, can't be done successfully.

Lara is not a well known fighter at all to the casual fan who you want and need to buy ppv's!

The average sports fan knows Canelo, Cotto and GGG they don't know Lara!

                  No.

Unless you have an agenda, then yes, the addition of Lara would catapult the sales figure into the millions.

GGG isn't a PPV name, Lara isn't a PPV name nor calibre fighter. Figure it out.

**** no! GGG vs Lemieux should have never been a PPV fight and Lara should never be in a PPV fight neither...

Did they also count the PPV units sold in Canada?
