Is GGG vs Lara a PPV fight?

I think only PPV fight for GGG is the Canelo fight.

Other fights must be shown on regular HBO.

I really don't see this fight as competitive. So I'll have to say "NO".

PPVs should be few and far between for the good of the sport. They should be reserved for two big time fighters going against each other in a pick'em fight.

This one is just too much in GGG's favor and neither man quite has the box office appeal just yet.

GGG needs Canelo for the PPV. With that win, he could do others. He's done great, but it takes a long time to build a PPV status.

As far as Lara, his style is not exciting enough for most. Unless he really knocks off some huge names like a Cotto or Canelo in a rematch, it's tough to see him selling a lot.
