All those threads on Top Rank screwing Gamboa and his escape from them being great for his career look pretty ridiculous now. He could have beaten Rios back in 2012 in a high profile fight and got well paid for it. And he would have been one of Top Rank's biggest stars at a time when the Cold War was going to bite them hard. Four years down the line he's worse off than he ever has been. What a waste. Another great Cuban fighter wrecking his own career.

Contracts are a mother.... aren't they, sounds like Gamboa had one of them tv lawyers read the contract before he signed it.
