Just because--for example--Jacobs or Lara say they want the GGG fight (and let's take them at their word)--that doesn't mean Haymon wants it.

If die-hard Golovkin haters were smart...
This poster is using common sense. I've never even thought about it. Why would Haymon feed his stars to a known killer? It just doesn't make any sense. He can't even feed Lara to one of the Charlo brothers, or vise versa, let alone to a non-Haymon fighter.

Common sense would have it and any body that knows a small amount about business knows that regarding business and the free market, nothing is absolute, but everything is negotiable. Everything.

Some of you guys are amazing in your rationale.

Before you found out that Loeffler/Team Golovkin would actually do business with Haymon, you were speaking for Team Golovkin and telling us what they can't do. Once you found out Loeffler will do business with Haymon, now you're speaking for Al Haymon, himself.

Have any of you guys thought about getting a degree in Harvard Law or Yale college of business?

On the surface, the latest round of talks between World light heavyweight champion Adonis Stevenson and unbeaten, unified light heavyweight titlist Sergey Kovalev ended in familiar fashion – no super fight to show for their efforts.

And this is the BS I'm talking about

We have two promoters negotiating to make a fight. Showtime is cool with it, Al Haymon is cool with it, but what do you know? Kathy Duva couldn't get her way so it was the highway.

Let's blame Al Haymon though... Oh yeah, let's not forget the "Haymon fighters are banned from HBO" nonsense. No how about you guys actually take the time to corroborate stories instead of always eating the propaganda.

Great journalism by Jake Donovan JakeNDaBox on getting the full story. At some point people have to ask the question. Why are Kovalev and GGG continuously signing these exclusive HBO contracts when all the good fighters are with PBC/Haymon making more $$$ on average?

Being that we have GGG vs a Haymon fighter, I think it's safe to say this myth was debunked before it was debunked.

Why Team GGG ducked negotiations with Daniel Jacobs? I have no idea.

But I'm pretty sure the excuse makers of the forum will have no problem providing answers.

Oh yeah, BTW, Khan (Haymon fighter) is fighting Canelo (HBO) fighter.

Now someone remind me why Stevenson vs Kovalev isn't happening?

because wade and khan can't win so HBO made the fights without hesitation. Stevenson can win-hence no fight.

I'm still wondering why there were no negotiations with Daniel Jacobs?

I think he's technically the mando so they really don't need to negotiate. Isn't it like 75/25 champion's favor?
