Khan's last 3 fight purses are £960,000, £650,000 and 950,000. Demanding £10million for the fight is to avoid it, and give his fanboys a way to try and defend it, which of course they are doing.
    End thread right here.

Khan is asking for 80 %of the money with a10 million guarantee. we are not talkingg about mayweather/berto. This is an evenly mached fight between fighters of similar accomplishment and popularity. A 60/40 split is more than fair and a 50/50splitwould be justified.

If Brook vs Khan does say 1 million UK PPV buys at £20

          +

          50k seats at £50

=this amounts to over £22 million in the UK.

This does not include the US, Showtime who will also offer a substantial amount

Khan is asking for £10 million. Eddie is then left with £12 million and form this he he only wants to give Brook £2 million

Hearns a mega ****, this is why Kell needs to sign with Haymon

Also even if it doesnt do a million PPV, it will do 700k - 800k.

Khan is simply asking for £10 million...Hearn is free to do whatever he wants with the rest
Well in principle Brook is the champ. Khan is the challenger.
Khan hasnt been doing himself any favors with his last few opponents/fights.
They should both meet in the middle and sign the damn fight, so much money to be made for both sides as you pointed out.

Hearns should certainly give Brook much more of the leftover 12million but I think Khan is asking way too much as usual. If the two ever fight I think Brook wins. Brook hits much harder and takes a punch much better and he has never lost a fight. Khan has lost to Prescott, Peterson and Garcia. I think Brook would beat all the boxers who beat Khan.As for Khan being the A side I don't agree. Brook is the undefeated world champion and Khan has become a non fighting professional ass sitter. Khan should be more reasonable and make the fight with Brook. It's probably Khan's last shot at the big payday he wants. Khan is just one more knock out loss from being finished as a star.

I still don't buy it. And most importantly it seems like the people with the $10M aren't buying it hence he doesn't get these major fights he keeps being in play for but pricing himself out of. And again I wanna be clear I'm not saying he's not worth millions for his in the ring talent & out of the ring drawing ability he's just not worth THAT many millions.
Be it 10 million or 8 million

Hearn was in the position to negotiate a 70/30 split

At one point Hearn and Brook claimed they would do a winner takes all, Brook is on record as saying the money doesn't matter, so now Khan is ready to fight, why does the money matter all of a sudden?

Khan's got other options, another crack at a title.

Brook is the one left out in the cold, all over a 10% or 20%

Now if Brook beats Khan, not only does he earn 2.5 - 3.5 million, in come the sponsorship deals, he star replaces Khans and he'll be a bigger draw in the UK. Then there is also a possible rematch that could come out of it, which would mean even more money.

or instead Brook can keep on defending his title against nobodies for a few quid...Where is the logic in this, please tell me? Brook needs the money more than Khan and he also needs the exposure....

Khans on the last leg of his career, Brooks just started

The true obstacle here is Eddie Hearns greed.
Hearn is all talk, his greed will never allow him to do this.

And who did Brook headline PPVs against? JoJo Dan and Frankie Gavin? lol

Amir Khan is the bigger draw, fact. He is the bigger name who does the bigger numbers. Kell Brook needs Khan more than Khan needs him.
Khan has many other options including Danny Garcia who he his mandatory for, what options does Kell have? A long highly anticipated Carson Jones rematch or Chris Van Veerdan?

Brook has said winner takes all, Eddie has said he will step a side.
So why not say 70/30 Khans favour (meet in the middle) if you're that confident? That is still going to be at least 6-8 mill, right?
I'll tell you why its because Eddie would rather keep putting Brook against absolute bums on PPV along with 4 mismatches for vacant titles and selling it to suckers.

Brook and Eddie talked, Khan called their bluff now they're humming and haring.
Brook needs to let go of Eddie, i just don't see where Brook goes from here.

Hearn has promised him a big summer fighter, but the best we are likely to get is Chaves and no disrespect to Chaves but he is hardly a BIG Summer Fight name.

Maybe they will bring Guerrero over for another title shot...who knows.

Someone desperate enough will come over...i am betting its between Guerrero, Paulie and Algieri.

You're still stuck in 2006. Khan is no longer a star or a big draw. Brook is the IBF champion, don't care how he got there, but he did and he's unbeaten.
