I don't know about the exact numbers since I am not an expert like most NSB accountants here, but I do know Khan isn't fighting Pac or Mayweather. This leaves Brook as his best option. Fight should be made and the nonsense needs to stop.

Khan's last 3 fight purses are £960,000, £650,000 and 950,000. Demanding £10million for the fight is to avoid it, and give his fanboys a way to try and defend it, which of course they are doing.

Its all about the media campaign here, Khan's name is cemented, and Brook has a title, both of them have a long rivalry, this is a very easy fight to sell.

Once the media campaign kick starts, tickets will be selling like hotcakes.

There is already buzz about the fight, even with casuals, who don't watch boxing.

Again this is what I keep saying with this "Khan is HUGE" stuff. "Khan deserves $10M cuz he just does" is kinda the best argument for Khan deserving $10M for Brook or a huge pile of money vs Floyd or Manny as well.

Khan's a bigger name though who has fought in Las Vegas MGM Grand can the same be said about Mr.Carl Froch?
I think the sheer fact that Carl for 8 million for that fight against Groves well its a good range to say what Khan should get, Khan's a bigger name and this fight will be more hyped up than the GG Vs. CF fight.

Hearn could have probably brought Khan down to 9 million, but he wasnt willing to negotiate it.

Sometimes ending negotiations when a silly number or split comes up is part of the negotiation process. It says call me back when you really wanna negotiate.
