    Thurman: Never Commentate Again...PLEASE!

Man, that was horrendously last night, he spent 90% of the time speaking about how surprised he was that Garcia was a counter puncher...wtf? Has he ever watched Garcia fight before? The guys two best punches are a counter left hook and a counter right. He played the role of counter puncher versus Morales, Khan AND Matthysse and only became the aggressor against Peterson because he was forced too.

Jeez, that was worse than listening to Foreman back in the day. Thurman is away with the fairies

And whenever they asked him a question between fights, he was talking like he was reading a prepared statement.

I thought he did a good job of explaining the action going on in the ring.

I thought he was ok...he's a fighter, not a commentator...the Kreigal guy was annoying IMO.

          He wasn't that bad.

The guy that was comparing Garcia to Mayweather needs to get slapped upside his head.

Thurman sounded like he was on something.
... And as if it was rehearsed of course, but I also suspect that he didn't want to express himself straightforward...

I haven't seen that broadcast but I can guarantee that he was not as bad as Sergio Mora was on Boxnation. Mora was as bad as Ive ever seen in any sport, I do not wish to hear from him ever again in life.

Thurman is a full-time fighter and I doubt he takes commentary seriously. He probably didn't even get paid to sit at the booth.

He's still better than Sergio Mora and Daniel Jacobs. And pretty much everyone is better than Gus Johnson.

I thought he was okay, first time on the mic afaik.

He schools Garcia, 12-0. Hopefully they'll make that fight if KT can beat Porter. Angel might want another Salka though especially now Danny is drawing such a huge crowd.

I'd be stunned if Garcia-Thurman is made after Thurman-Porter. Not because someone is dodging but because it wouldn't make much sense. I think they'll try and build it up to kick off 2017.
