No wonder Sullivan Barrera wants more than $250K to fight Ward. Guerrero is getting paid $1.2M and he's arguably 1-3 in his last 4 fights. Plus he has no discernible fanbase.

It's mostly cause Guerrero had a lucrative contract when he was with Golden Boy. He won't be getting that for much longer. But Haymon does try to get his fighters a nice amount of cash too.

        -Breazeale 100k
        .Mansour 55k

        Total fight purse $3.135

        For perspective

        Bradley 1.9 mil
        Rios $800 K
        Lomachenko's $750K
        Koaischa $35K

        Total fight purse $3.85 mil
so, in essence, if you pull the third bout (Breazeale-Mansour), PBC is delivering this primetime FOX card for basically $1m less than it cost HBO to bring in Bradley-Rios. good to know.

Guerrero has made a lot of money in his last 5 fights.

          Mayweather: $3M
          Kamegai: $1M
          Thurman: $1.225M
          Martinez: $1M
          Garcia: $1.2M

$7.425M in his last 5 fights.

Is Barrera under Haymon? If he is not then tough luck for him, this is not the MLB which is one organization, when Barry Zito signed that ridiculous 7 year-$126M contract with the SF Giants that opened up a bunch of pitchers wanting similar pay. In boxing, if a worse fighter than you is getting more money, there's nothing they can do except go to the managaer/company that is paying their fighters well.

It's like winning a $7.4mill jackpot and opting to get it in 5 checks.

I think Guerrero has been getting paid over $1M every fight since the Mayweather fight.

Half of that went to Uncle Sam.

For all that money, it sounds like it's bombing at the gate.
