Eddie has offered him 60/40....if he wants the fight, it is there.

We know the deal, he's terrified of that fight and getting knocked out again. His last few fights have been Molina, Diaz, Collazo, Alexander and Algieri....He's in no position to talk about recent opposition.

The real question is why does Hearn think he's in a position to make offers?

Hearn HAS PROVEN either unable (or unwilling to pay) to get the big names in the division (all of whom fight in America) over to the UK to fight Brook. Which means Eddie Hearn has two options:

(1) Send Brook off to fight in America (which probably means ceding some control of Brook's career or giving options on him to Al Haymon or Bob Arum)

(2) Stay at home, fight C-level opponents and hope for a phone call from Amir Khan

Eddie's chosen Option #2, now the phone call came and they're telling Khan to jump off a cliff when he's offering Brook a career high payday.

Good for Khan. He'll avenge the Garcia loss and get the WBC title. Then maybe the Brook fight is even bigger. Meanwhile Brook can keep starching bums at the Motorpoint for £250K a body until Khan is good and ready.

Hearn's outsized sense of entitlement to be calling the shots re: any major boxing event that takes place on UK soil is comical. They need Khan. Take the money and knock him out if you're so confident--you'll make a fortune on the rematch.

What does Khan bring to the table these days other than a British fan base? Chase the guys that have beaten you and prove a point over them before chasing the big stuff. If he called for a fight with Maidana again after Maidana fought Floyd there might have been a bit of interest. I dont think Maidana would lose a second time. Why not find a weight to fight Broner at? 2 boxers that believe they are more important than they are.
