When a fighter has been number 1 for as long a Wlad is of course he will have a rematch clause.

These belts don't determine contractual requirements.

Tyson Fury was the WBO & WBA mandatory challenger and was guaranteed a title shot WITHOUT a rematch clause.

Now, Tyson chose to VOLUNTARILY add a rematch clause because Wladimir paid him very handsomely to do so.

But "About Time" is 100% incorrect when he says Fury wouldn't have gotten a title shot without a rematch clause. Completely false. He's either lying or has no idea what he's talking about. There's no way Klitschko would have thrown two of his belts in the garbage to duck Fury.

FACT: Fury was the WBO & WBA mandatory. He was under no obligation to sign a rematch clause.

So the only way "Fury would never have landed that fight" would have been if Klitschko vacated his WBO & WBA titles to duck Fury.

So if you're claiming that Fury wouldn't have landed the fight, the only way for that to be true is if you're also claiming that Klitschko would have vacated his WBO & WBA belts.
