Maybe boxing needs a rule that when a fighter is seriously injured and knocked out cold that no one enters the ring but medical personnel till all is well?

Yea they let SZP lay there unconscious like a blob of meat and all the post fight interviews were being carried on as usual with little attention being paid to the SZP. Poles get little respect in America or elsewhere as they are Poles.

You're commenting as if they left Szpilka in a corner somewhere and carried on the post fight interviews like he wasn't there or something. He had medical personnel tending to him as soon as the fight was waved off. There was little attention being paid to him because he was asleep, and 2 of the best heavyweights in the world were taking verbal shots at each other.

          Congratulations Freddy!

2016 isn't even a month old and you are already in pole position (excuse the pun) for the hypocritical **** of the year award!

Nice win for Wilder though and the USA. Not much has ever come out of Poland.

When a fighter is laying there unconscious like the SZP and in needed of major medical attention no other people should be climbing in to the ring and celebrating and walking around infront of the TV cameras. Fury looked like a big clown in the ring.

Fury being a clasless punk as usual, nothing new to see here

for a jesus freak, he surely lacks empathy towards other human beings though.
a dude looked like he was dead right there, and he still didn't give a ****

oh nvm, I forgot religious nutjobs only consider their fellow religious nutjobs as human beings, the rest of people are subhumans who deserve to be burned at the stake merely for existing

It was nice to see Wilder holding back his celebrations till he knew Szpilka was OK.

Respect to him for behaving like that and for the finishing right hand, which was a peach of a punch.

But Fury came to the event with the purpose of getting in the ring and challenging Wilder after the fight, and he'd had a drink or 3 too, so I don't think he should be criticised for pressing on with his mission.

Worth remembering that Povetkin was ring-side also. He is Wilder's mando and he was there for the same reason as Fury - to build up interest in a fight between he and Deontay.

But when I came on-line just now I had a notification that Tyson Fury and the Iran nuclear deal were "trending" on Facebook. No mention of Povetkin.

                  Mission accomplished for Fury!

Come on man! It's not like Fury stepped over Szpilka's body while he was lying there unattended choking on his tongue.

He got clean KO'd in a boxing match and was being looked after by the medics when Fury entered the ring.

                      Bad timing by Fury

Szpilka was badly hurt and to jump in the ring was in very poor taste not to mention you should respect both fighters and at least wait till after they have both been interviewed before that kind of antics takes place. Fury was very classless.
