Lara is nothing special. Above average boxer with a good left hand. He has a laser left hand. Other than that meh...that's why he's in the position he's in because he is nothing special and fighters that are nothing special tend to drift in the middle of the pack, where Lara is, and has been for his entire career.

Lara got robbed against Paul Williams and arguably beat Canelo. He's fought tougher comp than GGG.

Murray is ('was' maybe?) a good fighter. As is Lara, i rate him highly. He is a nightmare with his style.

The reason Lara is being pushed on here as a possible opponent so much of late, is because Quillin and Lee lost IMO.
After the Lemeiux fight, there were lots of threads on how Golovkin had to 'step up' and face Lee or Quillin. When they both lost, Lara became the next guy. Maybe most people fancy his chances better than Jacobs or Saunders.

Lara is a top-end fighter i feel, i'm a fan of his. His style makes the fight interesting..i do wonder how he does against GGG though.
I think he would be competitive with the other guys at 160; Quillin, Jacobs ect. I don't think he does much better than anyone else has managed so far against GGG though.

You can say what you will about his style, but Lara is elite and that is just a fact. He has been in with elite fighters and more than held his own, and with a bit of luck may have held wins over Paul Williams and Canelo. I think he definitely beat PW and I had the Canelo fight a draw.

Don't get me wrong, he is not Floyd Mayweather, but he is a top fighter. He is awkward, good movement, good defensive skills (although he can be hit), he is fast, and he can punch pretty hard.

Murray and Macklin are not elite, they are borderline world level/gatekeepers who have probably been a bit unlucky not to get a world title.

Even as a smaller fighter at a weight division down, Lara presents more problems and more danger for GGG then both Murray and Macklin. His skills and boxing ability present a challenge which GGG has yet to face, he hasn't fought anyone that good. A lot of people overlook the fact that Lara actually has a lot of pop to keep fighters honest, whether he can do that with GGG remains to be seen, but it is definitely intriguing. GGG might go through him like the others, and that would be impressive and definitely would prove something to the boxing public. It would also create comparable competition with Canelo and is a perfect fight to build the hype for that one, as long as GGG comes through with no problems.

Boxingwise Lara is a mile ahead of Murray and Macklin. Lara and Golovkin also are at the same weight when in the ring.

All Lara has to do is move up and show the world why he should fight the middleweight champ. Or just make an offer now! Please, make it happen!

But let's be honest, Lara's fat twitter boy just brings in other boxer's names to hype his fighter cause he is so boring and only fought bums recently, he'd be absolutely irrelevant. They also did this with Mayweather.

All the talk is from Lara's immature wanna be gangsta promoter De Cubas.

If you are really interested about Lara's bluff, watch the video, it explains alot of what's really going on. Sanchez himself said if Lara would have knocked out Rodriguez and made an exciting fight he would be on GGG's radar.

Watch the video and find out the truth about Lara calling NOT wanting to fight GGG.
Well there goes that then. LOL!!! So Lara himself never called GGG out? Are you sure?

Boy, GGG fans sure do hate seeing their fighter fighter fight it seems. They're content with the likes of Rosado and Lemieux.

With that question, you have not payed much attention to what Lara is doing in the ring. I think his angles alone would give GGG problems (while it lasted). GGG would eventually KO him because of his ability to shift. Lara would give him more problems than people think. Stylistically, I'd like to see GGG against someone like Lara.

3 pages and not a single person has said what makes Lara better than Murray or Macklin. Pathetic. Maybe losing to Paul Williams who was knocked out by Martinez makes him better, I don't know. Or Maybe it was getting knocked down by Angulo or his fight with Molina. Whatever it is, nobody has said. Techincal ability doesn't automatically make one fighter better than the other. Lara gets the benefit of the doubt because of his skin color.

I'm sick of all this ****. Twitter that, facebook this, he said, she said. STFU and send a god damn offer to GGG, if your serious. People act like a couple quotes from a twitter post are the word of God or some ****. Lara called him out on Twitter, Jacobs just wants fair money. Blah ****ing blah. Again if these *****es really want these fights, chase it and make a ****ing offer.
