GGG could just accept the 155 and come in at 160. The 155 would not be binding with regard to the title. Would Nelle refuse to fight?... No... He'd take home some extra money and take his beating... "Could I please have some more sir?" or...
Yes... bwaaa ha haaa!!! That would be ruination for him.

I'd be willing to bet that whoever has the deepest pockets is gonna get their way. HBO nor WBC is gonna side with GGG over Canelo.
Well since you put it that way that could very well end up happening. We'll just have to wait it out and see what happens.

The catchweight is just an excuse to avoid GGG!
Thats a shame he has a better chance against GGG than he did against Floyd years ago. He just needs a fight plan to keep GGG stepping and reseting.
He has the ability to do it and enough pop to keep GGG honest.
Its a good fight and the "A side" BS is for chumps!
You need two solid competitors for a good fight who WANT to fight each other.
A side B side is a fan debate!

Is the ginger really going to be a complete b*tch made punk about this? And are boxing fans really going to let him act this way?

Fine. Then weigh in at 155 while GGG comes in anywhere up to 160.

I'd like to see GGG stand firm just to stick it to the WBC to see how they react and if they will indeed strip Canelo.

They use to say that Golovkin has no resume. Why? The answer is in those stats.

Sulaiman has already said that the sanctioned weight limit for this fight will be 160lbs. A catchweight would be a private arrangement between the 2 fighters, not recognised by the WBC.

Golovkin could put Canelo on the spot by agreeing to 155 then coming in at his usual weight. He might have to pay a financial penalty, if that was written into the contract, but Canelo would have to either fight him or pull out and lose his titles.

I like how some people pretend Canelo somehow has more talent than GGG. All he gots to do is make da gameplan.

                      This ^^^

Give up the strap then fight at neloweight for no title.
