Outside of that though, it is limited. Unless he signs with Al Haymon which would open some different doors.
Although, my understanding is that they are still open to working with the Hearns again. They just won't accept being treated poorly, similar to Frampton.Comment

He didn't want to drop his WBA interim belt for a WBO title eliminator.
Eubank Jr is still somehow in the WBA line despite being stripped of that interim belt and now he wants to fight for the British title instead of fighting Jacobs.
After all that big talk, Jr jacked it inComment

As of now, being mandatory for Jacobs' title is the only reason his promotional situation isn't too bad. He'll get that fight regardless of promoter.

I wonder how much he got for fighting Jeter and O'Sullivan. As far as I know, he will get less than 100.000 pounds to fight against Blackwell.Comment

Saunders had SIGNED the contract for the re-match, Eubank Jnr pulled out.
Eubank had a Mandatory shot for Jacobs, but decided the UK belt was more important?
Either way, Eubank Jnr has (in effect) ducked Saunders AND Jacobs.Comment

The original talks broke down over money split. This time Saunders is flat out saying no, 'beat Golovkin then we'll rematch' - that's a direct quote.Comment

I think the Eubanks are overestimating Jr at the moment. He is a top 10-15MW, but he isn't such a big draw yet. He got a good payday against O'Sullivan, and they should have checked the different options rather than rushing. Maybe they could have done a fight with Martin Murray.

As a fighter though, I think he's improved immensely in the last 18 months. He's got more serious, more varied and fights smarter...still improvements to be made, but I already think he's a top 5 MW. He has the attributes to be a great fighter, it's just putting it all together.Comment
