It kills me how your favorite fighter can do some bullshit and it be fine but when a fighter youre not a fan of does the same thing it's an issue. Why can't yall be men? Why cant y'all stand on your own two feet and call bullshit exactly what it is? That shit is weak as fuck and screams your character as a man.

It's hard being a promoter though. You build up a fighter, put him on the road to stardom only to eventually get embarrassed by a guy like Rigondeaux who is impossible to sell to the mainstream. At that stage, do you invest millions into the promotion of Rigondeaux only to never see a return? What if Lara got the decision over Canelo? That would have been a tremendous disaster.

It's just not an easy sport to promote when the fanbase is tied to individual fighters as opposed to the sport itself.

I'm not saying its easy but promoters now barely do the bare minimum of promoting. Of course your budget for promoting Rigo or Lara wouldn't be the same as what you would put behind Canelo. At the same time though Rigo and Lara are very good fighters in their own right and deserve some recognition for that and that is the promoters job. Hell even Arum lying @ss admitted that he didn't properly promote PBF to all the avenues that he could've. Which basically means he was being lazy and not doing his job.

Who tf cares what GG said? Fact was Ward never responded to it. Meaning, he's not interested. He just preferred to blow smoke. He couldn't make up his damn mind. Negotiations don't happen in one sitting doe. Only 7 yr olds think that they're take it or leave it thing. Ward had more than a year to decide when GG made his challenge. Ward did nothing.

Stop it clown, you didn't want the fight because you thought Ward was too big and would of stomped Golovkin. You never lobbied for that fight to get made because you don't want competitive fights for real.

That's already happened. Thurman/Porter, one of the most anticipated fights in the sport got bullied out of the MGM for a UFC card. Mayweather and Pacquiao were basically lipstick on a pig (being the sport of boxing) and they overshadowed the glaring problems associated with it and its declining popularity.

Mayweather and pacquiao has dominated the headlines the past 6 years.

you can't blame angel garcia for taking easy money for his son. that is absolutely nuts. you guys would do the same. either that, or you're not fit to manage a fighter.


blame the networks first! they buy these fights, you know.

if you want to send a message, call up showtime customer service and ask to speak to a supervisor. explain to them how you're canceling your sub, and why. if half of NSB did this the boxing world would change overnight.


a lot of you guys don't even buy HBO and showtime. really. you don't buy it. how else do you expect to send a message to these guys?


boxing doesn't ahve some altrustic body looking out for the wellbeing of fighters and the sport. i can't believe how many people claim to understand that the sky is blue, and then turn around and argue with me that it is red. want to influence boxing? send a message with your wallet, and get your friends in on it.

Annnnnd Angel Garcia just showed us what the Garcia's are truly about. Not losing and making money. In other words, just get overpaid to fight bums and take advantage of it. Sounds about right.

Funny part is, hmm... I mean the sad part is Haymon fanboys think they look good expressing concern over these fighters' well-being in general. In reality, they're only concern when it comes to Haymon and his fighters'. What about our Salka brothers who get significantly less money, get mauled, beaten to pulp, put on stretchers and sent to the nearest emergency? All for making Haymon fighters look good.

Wow, what a depressing video. But at least it's out there and people can now start having an honest discussion about what is going on right now in boxing.

No surprise whatsoever that it's a Haymon fighter either. Bit by bit, all his fighters are having their competitive spirit eroded by his farcical matchmaking model.
