lmfaooo Larry either got hacked or he's getting as dumb as his recent post history would have you believe

Also I can't imagine how GGG would be being discussed for the HOF right now. A big win over Canelo would certainly help his case but that couldn't possibly be enough, could it? (If you're going to respond with this and your post has the word "Gatti" anywhere in it, do us all a favor and log off)

out of the 14, 9 of them were scrubs. Lets me real here.
So you can peg him as a champion with 5 real defenses which sounds fair to me.

Puts Racist Black Panthers, nothing happens.
Puts Racist Hitler, he gets banned.

NSB can be weird at times.

No,,,, he still needs to land a marquee fight

The holy grail of middleweight is monzon, robinson, Hagler and hopkins

Robinson was already a made man when he moved to middleweight

monzon was in his prime when he won the title

Hagler got passed over much like Golovkin and got screwed with a draw when he got his first crack..

Hopkins was 36 when he really became "the man"

Outside of hopkins, Golovkin will be the oldest guy to be the man.. Even though it seemed like it took hagler forever to get the belt, he was still in his 20s when he won it.. Golovkin is at the age where marvin was retiring and hopkins was still a few years away from the moddleweight tourney that would make him the man.

Monzon was in his prime. Against who?

Hagler got a draw against who exactly? Was he a HOF/ATG quality boxer?

Monzon lifted the title from benevintu and also beat Emile Griffith and Jose napoles.. Those were the marquee fights, albeit vs great foghters on the back half of their career

Hagler had a bullcrap draw vs antofermo.. That was his first big marquee fight.. But he demolished Alan minter for the belt a year or 2 later and then beatdown antofermo in a rematch.. Hagler was considered p4p 1 by ring magazine by 1981 but the superfights eluded him for a few years till he landed duran, and then hearns, then leonard.
