Alvarez will always be protected...Alvarez is a fraud & wbc gives him the diamond belt...what BS...
Of course, he will be protected like the time he defeated a prime post Cotto undefeated Austin Trout, protected like when he fought TBE, protected when he fought the best 154 of the world, protected when he fought a 32-1 28 KO's Kirkland, protected when he fought a HoF who just recently KO'ed Martinez and A 180 Geale.

C'mon man, the hating is strong, he might beat GGG and you will find another excuse to hate.

I'm Ok with Monroe - he traded with Golovkin for a round and a half; super heart. He's also got legs enough to up Canelo's closing down game.

Monroe would be a very tough matchup for Canelo.

That arena, on that weekend, is the perfect fit for Canelo vs. GGG @ 155! GGG could not turn down that fight, even at that weight, for a chance to shine brighter than he could ever imagine. MAKE IT HAPPEN! Canelo is young enough to come back EVEN IF he were to lose. In fact Canelo could lose on Cinco de Mayo weekend, and then a rematch on Mexican Independence Day weekend, and EVEN IF he lost both, he SHOULD have made more money than the entire careers of Chavez Sr., Chavez Jr., Antonio Margarito, and Juan Manuel Marquez COMBINED! The only fight that can be bigger than Canelo vs. GGG on May 7, 2016 is Mayweather vs. Canelo 2 @ 155 for the middleweight championship of the world, and I'm not even sure about that! Canelo vs. GGG is WAY bigger than Pacquiao vs. Bradley 3, Thurman vs. Porter, and Kovalev vs. Ward! If they let this fight "marinate" like Mayweather vs. Pacquiao, they are making a HUGE mistake!

Monroe is about a third of Lara's effectiveness and skill. I see the same fate for Monroe Jr.

Canelo is the star with the huge fan base. Canelo's fans turn out in droves and support Canelo. Canelo is going to make the same amount of cash with Charlo as he would with GGG. Charlo just gets a smaller cut of the take.

Cinco de Mayo bout is a voluntary defense, and Canelo is the cash cow here, not GGG. For the simple fact of Mexican and Cinco de Mayo, Canelo makes more money and has the fans. Loeffler has to prove or justify that GGG this time around will make a difference in PPV, but if the money isn't right, I can only this mega fight continued to be postponed. Lets see how the mandatory defense plays out in September.

Unlike Lara, Monroe is actually willing to exchange with his opponents.
