Lets see how the mandatory defense plays out in September.
Can you imagine how much money Canelo would lose if GGG slipped up and lost to Taureano Johnson? What if Rosado takes Canelo to 12 in an ugly fight? Ask Amir Imam about "stay busy" fights! Canelo is the cash cow, and that's why GGG will have to come to 155 for a 60/40 split, but **** around and have a bad fight, or if GGG loses, then POOF!!! Cinco the Mayo aint happening. Again thats the voluntary defense, he's not obligated to fight GGG especially after Loeffler agreed to a later bout. Alvarez has Mayweather, Lara, and Cotto under his resume, just a few Champs to name a few. What is the equivalent from GGG to make demands on the table? This is the way hardball works. Given those facts and Canelo having the lineal, what does GGG have to offer with low PPV? True unification? Egos do exist in boxing? Im sure egos boost after fighting Floyd. It happened to Cotto and now its grooming into a young Canelo. Thats part of the game. Boxers have egos. "He's a good boy" is clear and present patronizing.

What answer? Lol. Monroe's punch rate and accomplishment is better than Lara? I don't follow you. One is a bonafide southpaw from the Cuban game and people criticize Rigo...

"No answer?" Skills pay the bills. Title belts have the thrill.

You said Monroe will suffer the same fate as Lara did, I said that unlike Lara, Monroe is willing to exchange.

Why did Lara lose? Because he wasn't willing to exchange, he thought that pot shotting would get him a win against Canelo.

And so what Lara is a decorated amateur? He still fights like one and that's why he lost against Canelo.

Style makes fights, get that into your thick skull, you God damn simpleton.

                Now get lost.

C'mon man, the hating is strong, he might beat GGG and you will find another excuse to hate.
You meant a Trout (45 pounds) and a Kirkland (55) who had both been off a long time and both had to drop a lot of weight.

A Cotto who beat Geale, after draining him, and one legged Martinez. A Cotto who walked in 20 pounds less than him. But still made a fight of it.

Oh, but he did fight Lara. But unless Lara KO'd him, Canelo wasn't gonna lose. Look at the scorecards, the kid is getting ****** scores over and over again.

They even had a favorable judge in the Mayweather fight.

Canelo won't fight GGG unless he is allowed to drain him like Cotto did Geale.

Canelo hope is if GGG power is gone, then even if he gets outfoxed, he'll get the dicision.

                  But Canelo fought Mosley. Pfft!

The best at 154, really. Why doesn't he fight Andrade or Charlo then.

Why can't Canelo be like everyone else and pick a damn weight class. Dude is a pampered brat.

Chavez jr with a better team and a little more determination.

This isn't about Lara, and if you retrace my response by quoting others in this thread, the context was Canelo vs Monroe Jr, the chap that got TKO'd by GGG, so as someone commented that it was going to be hard fight for Canelo, I said Monroe Jr. isn't near the skill of Lara. I am not going to debate that it's a fact. Seeing how Monroe Jr. was getting clicked by GGG on several knockdowns, I'm betting Monroe Jr. will have the same result again with Canelo. I don't see Monroe Jr. as a threat to Canelo, and mainly referring to points and his defense.

Rosado has NO chance. I want to see Monroe because he looked decent against Golovkin.
