Not going through with the bid was dumb on her part
OP, that whole fiasco looks like HBO made Duva pull out. I remind you that prior to all that Kathy was touting being backed by Russian Billionaires who presumably (given the povetkin/wlad purse bid) easily competed with Haymon.

Nope and forced him to turn the offer down because he refuses to let his guys fight on HBO. What HBO refuses to do is allow Haymon to go back to putting on mismatches on HBO for his fighters at ridiculous prices. They let PBC investors waste their money on crap like that. But you sound dumb saying HBO won't allow Haymon on their network when Beterbiev turned down an HBO offer just a few months ago
Stop lying. the only thing HBO has said is Haymon fighters are welcome "if the price is right", which is like when a girl tells you "it isn't you, it's me" when she dumps you.

That was a desperate attempt to cover for forcing Duva to pull out of the purse bid. A pure PR move HBO knew would never happen.

Its very simple. HBO should just announce Haymon fighters are welcome back on HBO. Then all this ends.

My point is you keep making this about HBO. when it's not Haymon creates a ton of enemies. It's bigger then HBO and more about Haymon and how he does business which is maybe why he's been sued so much lately. Point is he has enemies that have nothing to do with HBO and and rarely works with other promoters even when HBO is not involved. The list of en****** he is currently beefing with is Top Rank, Golden Boy, Roc Nation, HBO, he also doesn't work with SMS (50 Cent's promotion because of beef with him making a offer to steal away Floyd). Meanwhile hate Top Rank all you want Bob hated Don King like poison and vice versa and still worked with him to make fights. Golden Boy's beef with Top Rank was red hot yet both now that Haymon is out the picture work together. Bob Arum famously refused to give Oscar back his gold medal for years and had lawsuits aimed at one another.

Haymon operating in his own isolated bubble is not because of HBO.

Those "promoters" do not have any say in decision making and they do not put their own money at risk. Most of them don't even have these fighters under any contract. They are not promoters. They are Haymon employees, and he is only using them to squeeze by the Ali Act on a technicality and use their Promoters license. This is also a good reason why none of these fighters can gain any traction with the fans/public.

Jeez, I thought this was common knowledge.

He isn' "sued so much" wtf are you talking about?

He doesn't work with HBO (banned him) TR and GBP (suing him) nor roc nation (owner married to someone who sued him.) SMS doesn't even have any fighters.

HBO didn't ban King fighters. SHO hasn't banned GBP or TR fighters, wh don't they just go to SHo and fight Haymon fighters there?

Its simple-HBO banned Haymon. Lift the ban, all the BS goes away.

I could care less what they say publically and if the wording satisfies your haymon butt kissing @ss. Again HBO backed an offer and contract for Beterbiev Haymon fighter to fight Kovalev on HBO and make double the peanuts he is being paid by PBC. Beterbiev camp confirmed they were offered a contract HBO was on board that's a fact. A fight Beterbiev has publically called for over a year now and a direct shot at all the titles. And Haymon made him turn it down. HBO put their money on the table and made it known he could fight on HBO and Haymon said no. So cut the crap about HBO being the reason Haymon operates the way he does forcing multiple fighters he advises to turn down big money fights and fights that are great for their careers because of his own petty feuds. Roc Nation, SMS, and Golden Boy deal with Hopkins were all shot down fights that had no link to HBO.

Of course that offer was made knowing it would be turned down, a point you conveniently keep leaving out, because if it goes to a purse bid Bieterbiev would make much more.

SMS had Dirrel, Kirkland, Gamboa just to name a few

All big enough to get by fights with Froch, Abraham, Canelo, Crawford who are bigger then the counterparts in the Haymon stable! Yet because they were signed with 50 Cent no Haymon fighters were allowed to fight them. Again talk HBO all you want but those 3 guys would of all fought on networks Haymon wanted outside HBO. Face it Haymon beefs with a ton of people and that is why he operates in his little bubble not because of HBO.

How will he make more money when the fight will NEVER happen if it goes to purse bid. What will happen is haymon will overbid or will lose the bid and refuse to honor it like he did when he lost the bid to Roc Nation. The fight can't happen outside HBO because he's got a contract and we all know Haymon will do what he does best kill fights no matter if the money is great or the opportunity is great for his fighter. So have fun watching the Haymon minor leagues of boxing on PBC where it's Haymon fighter vs mismatch because he doesn't work with any of the top promoters who have all the best fighters. Just don't complain that this is because of HBO when this is how Haymon chooses to do business and alienates himself.
