Great fighter, great promotional company. It's about time something newsworthy is posted. 147 is now on high alert. The Machine is coming, and there's nowhere to hide.

Sucks for Matthysse. He should have left Golden Boy and joined PBC when he had the chance. Now he'll be stuck fighting the scraps Golden Boy can muster up.

Terrible move. There is nothing for him at 147 and he is already small at 140.

He should target Herrera at 140 if he can beat Ruslan, or Troyanovsky to win a title.

PBC doesn't have any of the good fighters at 140, those based in the US are all Top Rank besides Broner.

Doesn't matter now considering his move to 147 now does it?

Matthyse needs to stay at 140.

It's not just the size difference, and the fact that his strengths will not be as effective at welter..... it is the fact that 147 is currently quite deep, and is stacked with guys who will give him problems stylistically.

I always said that Matthyse was not elite, and I never bought into the pre-Garcia hype..... he picked up some elements from that tard fan-base, who all pretty much jumped ship when he lost to Danny..... but I still like him and support him.

A very good fun fighter who always brings it, I wish him all the best.

Provo at 140, and I take the better fighter Matthyse.

I remember a day in the not so distant past when Matthysse got that GGG love around here.

You must mean at 147? I think it's a bad move personally.
