but that's not their main area of expertise. And for the people who think a boxer can just walk into the octogan with a few months of training is deluded. It takes years to become a highly skilled MMA fighter. Defending a takedown takes years to master and without that boxers in the cage are useless and vice versa with boxing, despite his vaunted power Conor couldn't leverage his punches. Tyson sounds a bit jealous of the media attention his fellow Brit is getting and misses the limelight. Ever since he disappeared all he does is attack other fighters on Twitter, forgetting he basically threw away his career.

A proper counter right will send anyone shooting for a takedown into the canvas.

He's right. MMA is for people who can't box. Always has been.

          Theaganes, boxer.

          Klietomachos, boxer.

Rough and Tumble fighters who were really good at rough and tumble would graduate to London Prize Ring Rules when they were good enough.

The **** else do you need to know? Got like 3k years of open or laxer rules sports that allow much more range of techniques getting their asses handed to them by boxers.

Two different sports each with their own rules and so not intrinsically comparable. In general boxing could be viewed as a more specialist sport and as a rule a specialist will perform better in a generalist sport than a generalist will perform in a specialist sport.

                Boxing is superior to MMA
